The Miniature Asset Generator Asset is a special Scriptable Object that can be created and used to generate miniaturized mesh assets from existing Asset Chunk Groups. The primary purpose of the miniature mesh assets is to use them with the Loading Blueprint Editor and/or World Designer Tool, though you are free to use the assets for any other purpose you wish.
Do note that the generator is experimental, and while it will likely work well with Terrain, other non-mesh Terrain may produce ugly or even unusable miniature meshes. Such issues are expected and should not be reported.
You can create this asset by selecting from the Top Menu Bar:
Assets -> Create -> Deep Space Labs -> SAM -> Miniature Asset Generator
or by right clicking a folder (or inside a folder) within the Project Hierarchy and selecting from the pop up menu:
Create -> Deep Space Labs -> SAM -> Miniature Asset Generator
By default this Asset is given the name MiniatureAssetGenerator, however we recommend changing this name to something that will better help you differentiate it with other Miniature Asset Generator Assets in the future.
The Miniature Asset Generator relies heavily on a valid Streamable Grid, so if you have not already explored the chapter detailing the Streamable Grid and still need to create a Streamable Grid asset, we implore you to do so now.

Once you provide a Streamable Grid, a host of options are displayed which you can play with. We are not going to go over every setting, as detailed information has already been provided in tooltips which you can view by hovering over each options name.
