A Samples Package containing Sample Scenes is available on our website at https://deepspacelabs.net/html/sam/samples.html. You can also use the button below to open this page in your browser. This package contains a set of assets used by the sample scenes, and of course the sample scenes themselves.
These Sample Scenes can be found in the SampleScenes folder (under Assets/Deep Space Labs/SAM/Samples) after download/import, and are categorized into subfolders according to the concepts that they deal with. For each category, the scenes are ordered. It is recommended to start with scene 1 for each category and then proceed in order.
Please keep in mind that the collection of Sample Scenes is ever growing and the current version of the package may only cover a limited set of topics/concepts. Feel free to suggest ideas for additional scenes!
Any assets you find in the Samples pacakge should not be used directly outside of the sample scenes. Instead, you should duplicate any asset that you wish to use, to ensure that they are not overwritten in the future when you upgrade to a newer version of the Samples package.
Finally, bear in mind that the shaders/materials in the Samples package were created using the Standard shader from the Built-in Render Pipeline. If you are using a URP or HDRP (or another custom SRP), you will need to upgrade the shaders/materials after importing the Samples package.
